Finding and Protecting Your Peace

It’s important to maintain a healthy environment for growth and healing of the soul. When we are not at peace mentally, it affects self love and productivity. Create a sanctuary/safe place internally and externally where you can be productive and not do things just to be doing them.

Take time for yourself- reflect on what makes "you" happy. Take a walk in the park, listen to jazz, put your talents to use and be creative, exercise and/or meditate. Meditation has conceived a foundation to develop positive impacts mentally and physically. It helps to reduce stress, improve relationships and increase focus. Let go of the negative people in your life, including family. This doesn’t mean you no longer love them, just don’t allow them to steal your joy. Surround yourself with people that’ll support your dreams and aspirations, make you laugh or give you those butterfly feelings when you see them or hear their voice. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and find your peace. Know your worth!
