Remember being a teenager and not worrying about what to do or when to do it? Feeling so carefree, waking up at noon on the weekends (or summer breaks) or just wasting the day by sitting on the couch watching tv or gossiping on the phone. Looking back, do you know how much time was wasted? Can you now think of how productive you could've been? Instead we tend to push things off with the hopes of getting things done later. But then later may be too late and that time we pushed off is no longer available. The would've, could've, should've, right?
To understand time, we have to appreciate its value. The mechanism of a clock precisely allow us to know how much time we have and how much we've lost. Some of us are at a point in life trying to catch up, but the reality is we can't.
Time is always moving forward. There's no way to stop it. We have to identify time for what it is. Of course it’s natural to think of moments in the past and daydream of the future, but when our lives become dictated by thoughts and emotions attached to past events and potential future outcomes, our peace in the present can be effected.
Live in the moment, do what makes you happy. Absorb the love that's surrounding you. Be committed to what's in the heart and not the mind. Stop being too busy for what and who matters most. Make the time, it's what we have. Want to skydive? Do it! Want to apply for that management position? Do it! Want to start your own business? Do it! Want to lose 20lbs? Do it! Want to love without fear? Do it! The time is right now! So when you look at the clock on the wall or the watch on your wrist just remember, time waits for no one.
"Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't own it, but you can use it. You can't keep it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it, you can never get it back"

Thank you Tu 😘
Beautifully written. Love this!
This is so timely( no pun intended). “When our lives becomes dictated by thoughts and emotions attached to past events and potential future outcomes, our peace can be effected” This statement is so true .
